Their experienced team supports a wide range of applications, including cooling towers, evaporative condensers, steam and hot water boilers, and closed loop systems, bringing decades of technical expertise to every partnership. Throughout its history, Aquaphase has remained committed to exceptional service, forward-thinking technology, and environmentally responsible practices. With a focus on efficiency, sustainability, and long-term performance, the company continues to explore and implement greener solutions that support both operational goals and environmental stewardship. Today, Aquaphase’s legacy of reliability and innovation strengthens the C&S family, expanding our ability to deliver comprehensive water treatment solutions across the region. 

Founded in 2001 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Alberty & Blakeney, LLC (A&B) was established by John Alberty and Fred Blakeney, with Fred becoming sole owner in 2008. Over the years, A&B has grown into a leading specialty water treatment provider across the Southeastern United States, surpassing $10 million in annual revenue by 2023. In March 2024, A&B joined the C&S family, further expanding our presence and capabilities in key industrial and municipal markets. A&B serves medium to large petrochemical facilities as well as municipal potable and wastewater treatment plants, delivering both high-quality water treatment chemicals and expert technical support. Their work plays a critical role in protecting essential utility systems such as cooling water, steam, and makeup water, helping ensure operational continuity for complex industrial processes. Built on a foundation of performance, reliability, and strong customer partnerships, A&B’s continued growth is driven by its commitment to delivering solutions that safeguard assets and keep operations running efficiently. 

Founded in 1985 by John “Phil” Vehorn, SWE, Inc., commonly known as Southwest Engineers, was built on the belief that the water treatment industry demanded a more professional, service-driven approach. Headquartered in Slidell, Louisiana, SWE has grown to serve customers across the Southeastern United States, earning a strong reputation for technical expertise and consistent performance in industrial water treatment applications. 

C&S Chemicals acquired SWE in April 2023 as the first addition to its Industrial Water Treatment platform, marking a key step in expanding capabilities in this space. SWE operates its own chemical blending facility and is proudly certified to the ISO 9001:2015 standard, reflecting a commitment to quality, consistency, and continuous improvement. Today, SWE’s legacy of professionalism and precision strengthens the C&S family, enhancing our ability to deliver reliable, high-performance water treatment solutions. 

Founded in the mid-1990s, ISI Water Chemistries was established to meet the growing need for technically trained water treatment engineers serving the middle manufacturing market throughout the Mountain West. Built on a foundation of technical expertise and responsive customer service, ISI has developed long-standing partnerships across a diverse range of industries. 

Today, ISI Water Chemistries operates with a team of seven experienced water treatment engineers serving customers throughout Utah, Wyoming, Colorado, Idaho, and Nevada. The company also maintains a warehouse and product blending facility in Salt Lake City, allowing for efficient distribution and the development of custom-blended chemical solutions tailored to each customer’s unique operational needs. 

ISI supports a wide variety of industries, including milk processing plants, ice cream and yogurt facilities, semiconductor manufacturing facilities, medical manufacturing plants, fiberglass plants, co-generation power plants, and commercial HVAC systems. In 2024, ISI Water Chemistries joined the C&S Chemicals family, further expanding C&S Water Services’ presence and capabilities throughout the western United States. 

Clearwater was founded in August 1999 and has served the Intermountain West with a strong focus on mechanical contractor and bid/specification projects. Over the years, the company expanded its expertise to include conventional water treatment programs for large commercial and industrial facilities throughout the region. Clearwater is known for building long-term customer relationships, including providing cooling tower water treatment services to Hill Air Force Base for more than 20 years. Through technical expertise, dependable service, and a commitment to customer success, Clearwater has established itself as a trusted partner in the water treatment industry.

Founded on August 1, 2001, by Dan Curnock and Eddie Cocetti, ChemCentric has specialized in refinery and petrochemical water treatment from the very beginning. Just over a month after opening its doors, the events of September 11, 2001, created immediate challenges for the young company, including canceled customer events and an uncertain business climate. Despite those obstacles, ChemCentric persevered and built a reputation for technical expertise and dependable service.

Today, ChemCentric provides comprehensive water treatment solutions for refinery and petrochemical operations, including boilers, cooling towers, intake clarification, wastewater systems, and everything in between. As part of the C&S Chemicals family, ChemCentric continues to deliver the same specialized expertise while offering customers the added strength, resources, and support of a larger organization.
